Alexandra Ensor is a multidisciplinary illustrator, animator and visual artist based in Manchester and the North of England. Her artwork focuses on themes relating to the occult, macabre, folklore, history, feminism, neurodivergence, mental health and more. Predominantly working with ink, Ensor specialises in visceral image making and approaches, emphasising textures, mediums and other sensory qualities, which are ignited by her neurodivergence. These are an integral tool to her style, in order to accentuate strong characters and themes. Combining both traditional and digital methods, Ensor is fuelled by personal interpretations, automatic drawing and a general love for storytelling and narratives.
