For Secret 7″ x Warchild’s collaboration 2025, I wanted to truly bring the gothic identity of The Cure and its lyrics to life by taking a visceral approach to make a design for Warsong- Live at Troxy London. By translating lyrics of fragility and destruction into organic illustrations, I was able to create a compelling, recognisable visual that embodies the song and sits with The Cure’s other cover art in an authentic nature. With bold textures, I was able to make a strong visual impact that reflected the song’s inner battle and complexities of emotions. Processes include ink, graphite analog drawings, Photoshop, Procreate, screenprint and stop motion animation.
